Is Ted Cruz even a U.S. Citizen?

Cruz and canada (138x95)

SIMPLY PUT, THERE APPEARS TO BE NO DOCUMENTATION EVER SUPPLIED BY TED CRUZ THAT HE IS A U.S. CITIZEN, NEVERTHELESS, A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN ELIGIBLE FOR THE PRESIDENCY OR VICE-PRESIDENCY.

Didn’t know he was a Canadian Citizen?

Ted Cruz says upon learning that he was a Canadian Citizen in August 2013, at the age of 42, that he took immediate steps to renounce the citizenship.

Here is a question: What has he used as a U.S. Birth Certificate for 42 years, for a driver’s license, college, etc.?

He provided his Canadian birth certificate to the Dallas Morning News in August of 2013. If he had his Canadian birth certificate, why did he just learn that he was a Canadian Citizen in August 2013?  Alternatively, what has he used as a U.S. Birth Certificate all 42 years?

Let us look at the appropriate requirement when Ted Cruz was born in 1970 to a Cuban Citizen father and a U.S.Citizen mother.

Birth Abroad to One Citizen and One Alien Parent in Wedlock

A child born abroad to one U.S. citizen parent and one alien parent acquires U.S. citizenship at birth under Section 301(g) of the INA provided the U.S. citizen parent was physically present in the United States or one of its outlying possessions for the time period required by the law applicable at the time of the child’s birth. …

The parent physically present requirement for Ted Cruz’s mother further examined:

“…For birth between December 24, 1952 and November 13, 1986, a period of ten years, five after the age of fourteen, is required for physical presence in the United States or one of its outlying possessions to transmit U.S. citizenship to the child.)…”

“The U.S. citizen parent must be the genetic or the gestational parent and the legal parent of the child under local law at the time and place of the child’s birth to transmit U.S. citizenship.”

(He may comply)

What if the birth was registered in a foreign country? It appears that Ted’s birth was registered in Canada, because he produced a Canadian birth certificate, registered before his first birthday, and he says he moved to the U.S. at the age of four.

Again, the law as it applies to Ted: “If you were born on foreign soil to US citizens and if your birth was registered before your 5th birthday, in a US Consulate, you may use your CONSULAR BIRTH REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE,  as you will not possess a Birth Certificate issued by any U.S. State or territory, to prove U.S. Citizenship.  Has anyone ever seen Cruz’s CBRC?  If your birth was not registered or if that certificate was misplaced, you need to apply for a US citizenship certificate on Form N-565 or you will have to apply for a US passport.”

Now another big question: A) does Ted have a consular birth registration certificate as proof of American Citizenship, B) or did his birth not get registered, requiring him to hold Form-565 or a U.S. Passport?  Which form does he have, as “A” may enter him into the natural born citizen sweepstakes, or if he has “B” it will be extremely tough to prove natural born citizen?

He likely has a passport, but this does not prove natural born citizen – Definitely not!

Again, another good question  arises that should provide doubt on his claims: Does A Harvard trained lawyer not know that he was a Canadian citizen as he claimed, while holding a Canadian Birth Certificate, for 42years?  Whaaaat??  More doubt.

Next phase: How does he prove that he is a US citizen if he were born to US Citizens out of the country (Canada)?

From a government website: “You will still be a US citizen, (not necessarily natural born), if you were born in a foreign country, if either one of your parents was a US citizen, when you were born. In such cases, you may derive citizenship from your parent who was a US citizen. However, every individual who was born abroad to US citizens may not become eligible for citizenship and the law that was in effect when you were born will help the officers to decide whether you are eligible for citizenship or not.”

Government website: What if your birth was registered in a foreign country?  (Ted Cruz’s birth apparently was.)  If you were born on foreign soil to US citizens and if your birth was registered before your 5th birthday, in a US Consulate, you may use your consular birth registration certificate as a proof of American citizenship. If your birth was not registered or if that certificate was misplaced, you need to apply for a US citizenship certificate on Form N-565 or you will have to apply for a US passport.

Does Ted Cruz have  a U.S citizenship document via form N-565?  Has he shown his citizenship documents or his CBRC to anyone?  He must have one of them to even be a citizen, not necessarily natural born.

SIMPLY PUT, THERE APPEARS TO BE NO CITIZENSHIP DOCUMENTATION EVER SUPPLIED BY TED CRUZ  TO TEXAS TO RUN FOR AND BECOME A U.S. SENATOR OR ANYWHERE ELSE, THAT HE IS A U.S. CITIZEN, NEVERTHELESS, A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN ELIGIBLE FOR THE PRESIDENCY OR VICE-PRESIDENCY.

Natural Born Citizen challenge:

A man named Williams is challenging Ted Cruz being on the ballot in New Jersey and a number of other upcoming primary states. Click here:  https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/volokh-conspiracy/wp/2016/04/09/law-professor-runs-for-president-in-order-to-challenge-ted-cruzs-eligibility/

His challenge in Illinois was rejected by the court, meaning Williams lost that round.

Bigger problems than Williams is represented by the North American Law Center, which is preparing a, possibly substantial, case that Ted Cruz is not a “Natural Born Citizen” eligible to be elected either President or Vice-President. Taking a gander at their website is eye opening.

Again, the question whether Ted Cruz is a natural born citizen eligible to be president starts with a bigger question. It Ted Cruz a U.S. Citizen, even this has not been settled as described above.

  1. We need Ted and his parents to unseal the records. If they have nothing to hide then why did he have rescreco de sealed ? Did his mother renounce her US citizenship before Ted was born ? His father, conviently became a Canadian citizen during the. Vietnam war and then returned to the U.S. When it was over. Did his mother, if she was a citizen file US tax returns for the almost ten years she looks fed in England and the years she lived in Canada. She does show up on Canadian voter lists.
Canada did not allow dual citizenship during that time so how did Ted have it ?
